The LTD 12 contains a 12" (300mm) LF driver and a 1.75" (44mm?diameter titanium diaphragm. The UK Fane driver uses a lightweight aluminum voice coil, which is mounted on a rotatable 80° x 50° constant directivity HF horn. The LF driver has a tough, water resistant cone and features a high BL motor with a flat-wire copper coil and an aluminum-demodulating ring. This reduces intermodulation distortion and improves midrange performance when driven hard. The directivity of the LF driver has been matched to the HF horn in the crossover region by improved crossover design and cone profile optimization, also the HF compression driver utilizes an ultra-lightweight diaphragm for extended high frequency response.
